And yet, their unquestioning, deep servitude paired with their anonymity generate a cult-like atmosphere.<\/p>\n<p>A select few maids get to entertain the Lord&#8217;s wealthy guests, which is supposedly an honor. But the circumstances are surreal, these activities unnatural.
